The 8:00 a.m. service
uses a blended liturgy with mostly organ accompaniment for the hymns.
A traditional hymnal liturgy is used once per month. The service
has a more traditional feeling as the Pastor, Liturgists, and Acolytes
wear vestments. Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd weekend
of the month at this service.
During the Christian Education time, there
is a variety of opportunities to learn more about God's Word, with Sunday
School for children, Jr. and Sr. High students and various adult classes.
The 10:30 a.m. service is
a more informal, contemporary service. Elements of Lutheran liturgy are
retained, but the words used are in today's language. Contempory music
is used throughout, accompanied by the Worship Band of keyboard, guitars, bass,
drums and singers. Various media are used to enhance the worship service. Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at this service.
